I ordered a few of your amazing products and received more then I ordered. I am by no means complaining but I would like to let y’all be aware just In case I need to send a few more dollars for the extra small Minivac I was sent. Thank you.
If you want to store dry herb and to contain its smell, the TightVac is perfect! The container’s capacity is accommodating and can hold in tons of herb you may think won’t fit!
If you have spices that you want to keep fresh...and in some cases limit the smell...the TightVac units are by far the best choice. I've tried tupperware, plastic boxes, and a variety of other "seal-able" options...none of which work consistently and/or very well. The TightVac canisters have been easy to use and 'lock tight' keeping contents fresh and odor free.
These cannisters come in various sizes, so it is relatively easy to find one that fits your need.
I have some TightVacs that are coming up on 18 months old...and get frequent open/close usage. They still seal tightly.
item as described, nice small vitamin box for everyday travel use, Nice tight seal. If your looking for a reliable 100% vacuum tight seal for medicinal herbs you might want to look elswhere
Worth the buy
Holds odor fairly well. The vacuum seal is interesting. I can pull the top off even without pressing the release button; it's more difficult and there is more resistance, but it's definitely doable. However, you do need to press the button to place the cap on. Despite this, I can't smell any strong odor from the outside of the inside material. If the Minivac is stashed inside another container that does have an odor, the odor will cling slightly to the outside of the Minivac, but will dissipate after 15-30 minutes.
this works better than a mason jar
In terms of smell control, this works better than a mason jar. The small, included deodorizing charcoal filter packet probably helps as well. Very discreet container with the exception of the sticker on top which I peeled off - and the sticker residue was difficult to remove. Impressed with the effectiveness of the smell control.
Not a "pump" type vacuum as I mistakenly thought but still unique and very functional. The vacuum aspect is what holds the lid on. If it turns out to be at least moderately durable, I will definitely buy another.
